HD-S-Z Sealed Swivels Grease Zerk
Description
HD-S-Z Sealed Swivels Grease Zerk are manufactured from high grade pre-stressed steel. These patented ball bearing swivels are designed for Directional Boring, Overhead and Underground pulling grips applications that require a greaseable swivel.
Proper placement of thrust and radial bearing allow thrust & shock loads to be absorbed without affecting rotation of swivel. Pins are screwdriver removable.
The greaseable swivels are sealed and are equipped with a protected Grease Zerk for simultaneous greasing, purging and cleaning of interior.
These swivels are the high quality reliable choice. All the quality you have come to expect from the Lewis Swivel Line coupled with the greaseable option.
Lewis swivels can be ordered with screwdriver removable pins or allen wrench removable pins.
Standard is screwdriver slotted pins.

Greasing Instruction

READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE USING LEWIS BALL BEARING SWIVELS
- It is essential to inspect all Lewis swivels before and after each use.
- If the swivel is loose and/or the bearings feel rough when rotated or are seized and cannot be rotated, the swivel should be removed from service immediately.
- Always select a swivel larger than the machine capacity.
- If a Lewis swivel is exposed to a load exceeding the posted work load it should be removed from service immediately, and a larger swivel should thereafter be used.
- It is important that you read and understand all breaking strength, safety & technical data relating to all Lewis Manufacturing Company products.
- Please order carefully. Do not exceed published working load on any Lewis swivel.
- Lubricate all greaseable swivels before and after each use.
