Pulling Grips Overhead Model R, Short Mesh
Description
Pulling Grips Overhead Model R Series is basically the same grip in size and basket construction as the Model OH; however, it is somewhat shorter. This grip is used in pulling all types of wire rope.
Pulling Grips Overhead Model R Series with short mesh are designed for the special demands of overhead stringing crews, with a basket constructed of woven Nylon Coated Aircraft Strand for maximum abrasive resistance.
NOTE: Pulling Grips Overhead Model R made with uncoated wire gives approximately 20% more strength. Please specify when ordering If you wish to have your grips manufactured with uncoated wire.
It has special tough plastic boots at eye-end to prevent abrasion between the conductor and pulling dollies. A steel thimble is manufactured into the eye and is furnished without swivel or steel thimble on request.
These grips are easily adaptable to Lewis ball bearing swivels.
