LSG-X RW Snake Grips — Low Profile, Reverse Weave 0.25 – 4.25
Description
The LSG-X RW Snake Grips with reverse weave construction, as overhead pulling grips, perform the same function as the standard LSG Snake Grips. However, this Snake Grip cannot be taken apart in the middle, the two grip sides are permanently attached via the grip’s “Swivel Tube Assembly”.
Lewis LSG-X RW Snake Grips = Very Low Profile Grip
The Swivel Tube Assembly is a low profile heavy-duty friction swivel. This snake is for the customer who does not need to separate the two pulling grip elements and who prefers a very low profile swivel. The swivel is permanently greased and has the size range and working load clearly stenciled on the swivel tube assembly.
Additionally, design of reverse weave mesh snake grips incorporates:
- Reverse Weave – The mesh ends have a reverse weave construction instead of crimped sleeves
- No Shoulders – Plastic shoulders on this model have been eliminated
These two features along with the swivel tube assembly create a very low profile that allows a smoother and snag-resistant operation.
Snake grips are part of Lewis Pulling Grips line of products and typically are used on Oil Rigs, Drilling Rigs & Platform.
